Archangel Michael Hospice opened it’s doors in July 2015.  This state of the art Hospice is made up of 9 spacious bedrooms and offers palliative and respite care to all those in need, regardless of nationality, race, religion or the nature of the illness.  In addition to this it is the only facility on the Island designed to offer palliative care to children.

During 2019 the Hospice provided 1474 nights of palliative or respite love and care.  Additionally in 2019, the Hospice facilitated the equivalent of 3,840 hours of outpatient support care to persons with special needs.   Whilst also providing facilities for cancer patients requiring blood transfusions.

All end of life services are provided free of charge.   However this is not without cost.  Without funding, the continued upkeep of these vital services would not be possible.

We are now facing a funding crisis because of Corona Virus and the closing of our charity shops and cancellation of events.
